Every sheet of paper is made from waste paper scraps i.e: old bank statements, letters and bills from households and businesses in our local area, because there is enough paper on Earth already.

Our papers are coloured using lightfast, colour stable pigments. You can purchase them in our shop.

Yes! The paper is internally sized making it suitable for calligraphy and watercolour and we have seen some beautiful examples of watercolour, ink and calligraphy on our paper.

Please bear in mind that it won’t behave the same as commercial watercolour paper however so we would always recommend experimenting with a sample/smaller order first, particularly for orders for calligraphy.

Many customers have had success using a standard home printer but results are varied and dependent on a number of different factors including the capabilities of the printer being used - rear feed printers are recommended.

We offer a digital printing service (coming Jan 2023) on our papers to eliminate any printing worries!

Our preferred GSM weight of all sheets in our shop is around 300gsm.

Yes! Working with you to create the perfect paper for your project is our favourite part! Sheets can be customised to suit your requirements including dip dye, wildflower petals and gold leaf, just get in touch via our made-to-order service page to discuss options!

Bulk order discounts are discussed on an individual basis and generally start on orders over 100 sheets. As we are a one woman studio, we currently do not offer a wholesale program.

Our current lead time varies and excludes delivery to your destination from here in the UK. The lead time is dependent on the size of your order and the more sheets/colours ordered the longer your order will take to produce. We are a one woman studio and rush orders can be incredibly stressful so please reach out sooner rather than later for a lead time estimate.

Yes, the vessels have a completely waterproof interior and can hold cold water. Care should be given to keep the exterior of the vessels dry and avoid holding the vessels by the handles, especially when filled with water. A vessel care guide will be supplied upon purchase.
