PAPERMAKING PIGMENT - INDIVIDUAL COLOURS
The most popular question we get asked is ‘how do you achieve your bright and beautiful colours??’ Our secret is these liquid pigments and we adore them!

The pigments are sold individually in a 30ml bottle and each comes labelled, with a twist-top cap which allows for controlled flow when dispensing the pigment. Each bottle is approximately 9.5cm high.
The colours available are: Red, Cadmium red, Magenta, Orange, Yellow, Green, Cyan, Blue, Dark blue, Purple, Violet and Black.

A retention aid needs to be purchased alongside these pigments to bind the pigment to your pulp - shop our retention aid here.

HOW TO USE:
Dispense droplets of pigment into a jug and dilute with a small amount of water and stir. Add to your pulp a little at a time and stir your pulp until your desired colour has been achieved. Add a retention aid a few drops at a time and stir until your water runs clear.
Please note:
- Pigmented pulp naturally dries around 20% lighter than the colour the pulp appears when wet so a little trial and error is always necessary.
- These are highly pigmented so we would recommend wearing gloves and an apron!
